DifferenceEngine was an Agent who was also one of the former Machinist liaisons, until he was replaced by Turring when he was exhibiting some of the symptoms of the Smith virus.
Biography[]
Seeing the successful results with their new liaison, Agent Pace, the Machines decided to produce another program to interact with the humans. This program, named DifferenceEngine, was given the job of liaising with the humans so the Agents could concentrate on their own duties (ensure the protection of the Matrix world).
