Dreamcatcher is a 2003 sci-fi film, based on the Stephen King novel of the same name. The Animatrix segment Final Flight of the Osiris was first shown in cinemas with Dreamcatcher, to promote the upcoming release of The Matrix Reloaded. Like the Matrix trilogy, and The Animatrix, Dreamcatcher was produced by Village Roadshow[1] and released by Warner Brothers.

Dreamcatcher premiered on March 21, 2003, eight weeks before the general release of The Matrix Reloaded (May 15, 2003).
