While serving aboard Neo's Hope, Fist's primary task was investigating information pertaining to, as well as locating, the missing crew members of the Nebuchadnezzar.
Fist was assassinated during his search after the Machines discovered his investigation and his affiliation with E Pluribus Neo. Despite this, the clues he uncovered eventually lead the Zionists to recover Trinity and Neo.
