Lana Wachowski (formerly Laurence "Larry" Wachowski; born June 21, 1965) is an American film director, writer and producer, most famous for creating The Matrix series together with sister Lilly Wachowski.

Following the success of The Matrix, they went one to write and produce a number of other films, including V for Vendetta (2006), and Cloud Atlas (2012).
