New Zion vs Io[]
Is the new Zion identical with IO or is it yet another city? 213.142.97.239 08:19, 26 February 2022 (UTC)
- It could be different or it could be the same. New Zion was built as a safeguard for when the Truce failed and was built before Zion even fell. Also, the Machines already know where New Zion is located. So it could be simpler to think that IO is a new city altogether. But, with the Machine Civil War, the Machines could have just ignored New Zion long enough for it to evolve into IO. The location already being known could also explain the presence of Synthients. Plus, New Zion was also much more heavily fortified than the old Zion, which adds more reason to why it was "ignored".
