Since Smith has the ability of assimilating Redpills and then controlling them, chould't the Machines have tried to convince Smith of assimilating everyone in the matix thus making all the humans truly batteries fr themselves. If not Smith, then they could have created a new prognramme with the same ablities. Then why didn't they do this?
